I have a Lincoln that has been in and out of a ummmmm, uuummmm shop a few times and I made the mistake of hooking it up backward ( neg - pos polarity) anyways, I thought it would be fine becuase they have reverse pol protection..... NOT not any more, they guy ripped the diode out and now something fried. It was my mistake, but unfortantly it is broke.

I don't know what to check, tried to replace final, but seems something before the final is out..

Powers up,

Turns on,

everything - no TX very little if any what so ever--

Some weird components have been put into it and a dirty hack job of blue silicone to cover up the parts used... hum

I won't mention the tech.

Ready to just send it off to somebody with the most experience.

What do ya think?
