wkm62, Welcome to the CDX forumI

The firestick is a great improvement over the "multi AM FM" antenna that you have. It just depends on what you want to do, and what kind of Radio you are using.

Just give us a little more info, and we can help you out.

Lots of knowledge on this forum.

I use the 3 ft. Firestick on my Neon with atrunk mount as a mag doesn't stick good, must have an alloy in the metal. But it seems to work great with my Grant and PC68.

I don't know about your location but truckstops are a good place to find Firestik antennas, especially the 5 ft. model.

I have a 3' & 4' firestik, and a 5' wilson, among others. I don't notice much difference betwen the 4' Firestik and the 5' wilson. I can tell you that the Firestik tunes MUCH easier than the Wilson. I also like the 4' better than the 3' You can order the Firestik's from bills2way.com.

Can anyone tell me if they've used a 3, or 4 foot Firestik FS antenna on their car, or pickup truck with good results. I'm considering buying one to replace the AM/FM/CB antenna i've had on my vehicles for the last 7 years. Thanks in advance for any advice, and any opinions.
