No problem storing the memory, tones, etc. Same goes for adding the name.

Here's the problem. When I add the name to a channel, should I just hold the V/m button to save the name?

Here's the good part. Can I toggle the monitor to show name or frequency?

Appreciate any help. I'm losing hair on this one.:angry:

You hit the down arrow on the MENU/GRP button to save the name after you enter it.

Here's the good part. Can I toggle the monitor to show name or frequency?

It always shows the frequency, but if you hit the MEM button on the M2 screen, it will show the memory name in small letters below the frequency. You can also show a list view of all the memories with names and scroll through them to select the one you want.
