UPS, FedEx, DHL, Rolex watches, Viagra, Cialis ....I think I get them all. But at least they go to my "Public" e-mail address and none of the others.
Spam filter catches about 98% of them and boots them into the junk mail folder.

Yes this is one of the 2% that my spam filter did not get.

So did you get your package?
It wasn't my package, it's Aaron Worley's I suppose.

Since when does ups drop of an undeliverable package due to a address error at the post office? see the reason for this post yet? oh and the spelling is suspect also.

I'm sure if I opened the attachment that came with it I would get a very big package.

I recall a virus warning email a while back saying to be on the look-out during the Christmas rush and do not open such email.

Yeah pretty crummy phish there Mack.

Actually UPS and FedEx are using the Post Office to deliver some of their packages in the more rural areas. My wife works at the PO and we are in a rural county 70 miles away from the nearest metro big city area. It saves Brown and White a lot of time and gas carrying one box way out into the sticks somewhere.

Very poor phish, didn't hide the bogus originating email address. And the misspelled words.

Thing is I don't see what they were trying to get out of you besides a wasted trip to the post office ????

Some phishers are much better than this and we DO need to be on the lookout. I use ebay and paypal. I've received some darn good fake emails from scammers trying to get my personal information for either site.

If ebay, or more particularly, paypal, send you an email, they will call you by your Registered Name, AND a duplicate message will be in your ebay or paypal message box on those sites.

NEVER click on any links or take any actions on your EMAIL before going to ebay or paypal FIRST and making sure the same message is there also.

I've gotten some absolutely perfect looking fake emails where they addressed me by name and not something else like "Dear Ebay Member" or something.

Anytime you get a fake message for one of these two places. FORWARD them to either:
spoof@ebay.com or spoof@paypal.com

Good luck and beware
