Who here would be interested in Pal-Talk. I was thinking of holding a conference soon for any technical related questions, comments, etc. Anyone interested in anything like this?

I think that is a great idea,BUT I think it should be HEAVILY moderated to prevent bashing and arguing <img src=http://users.joplin.com/dutch64804/goodluck.gif ALT=":good">

Sounds like a good idea there is alot of Cbers on paltalk since there is a handfull of rooms on there.

We had a Paltalk room, the problem is that you need a moderator in there at all times to keep the room open, unless someone wants to step up and pay for the fees. I can look into seeing what it costs...

Yeah, just an idea, I think maybe if people could hear each other's voices, and listen to the "tone" of one's voice, there would be less fussing and fighting. It would maybe make the conversations more personal. That way, if someone says something, they would know how the meant what they said. For instance, there's a big difference between:

I had one of those and thought it was a piece of junk, and

I had one of those and though it was a piece of junk,

But you would never know the emotion involved with the statement, unless there was a voice to go with it. People I think would be more apt to asking why they think that way too. A response might be:

Well mine never worked right, but if your's does that's cool, what did you do differently?

I think you all get the point, maybe try to get some members together for a more "face to face" approach, maybe it will help some of the "bickering" that takes place.

Anyone have any ideas / thoughts on this?

Justin, I have a Paltalk room and there are four other admins for it. It is there if you want to use it for that. I just can't keep it open all the time right now. But it is there if needed.
