I bought an Astron RS-35M power supply. I hooked it up and I checked the voltage and it is putting out 13.9 volts instead of 13.8.

I suppose that's OK isn't it?

There is an adjustment for voltage inside.

Look out for the screws on the big cap, some voltage lives there, on or off, plugged in or not.

There is a wheel on a VR on the underside of the PC board. It can go up to about 15V to less than 12.

13.9 is just fine.

Food for thought but with a difference of only 0.1 volts how do you know it's not the meter that's off that minuscule amount?

I had thought about that. But both my radio and my multimeter indicates it's 13.9 volts. Then again, they both could be off the same amount.

Oh well, if 13.9 doesn't hurt anything I won't worry about it.

The difference is still within the accuracy limits of your meter, whichever one you use. ;) I guarantee it.
