Hello Scott99 Cobra99:

The problem with RG-6 Coax is that the shield can not be soldered, from my experiences. So that left me to buy a Crimping Tool and Crimp on the Cable TV Connectors, called "F" type connectors. Radio Shack has them.

I bought the Adapters that convert the F type connection to a PL-259. But the F type connector, and adapter only impressed me as a receive type use, not looking like it would take any heat or high power.

I use the RG-6 Coax on my scanner, works great.
