I am looking for a service manual or any information to peak and tune this radio. This is the smt version made for the US and is the 40th anniversay and the date of the board is Dec. 2004. Thanks for any help.

The Mod Limiter is probably D203.

Before I'd get to boogerin' around in there with the golden screwdriver, make sure that d203 exists and that it is in the general location of the audio transformer.

If you could let me know the PLL that is in that radio, that may help me out, too...

Your mileage may vary.

Keep hands and feet away from propeller!

Sonwatcher this is the wrong model; the one I have is made for the US and the 40th anniversary and is a SMT board version. Rick Jackson of the UK listed the information for cbtricks.com and if you look at the exploded view of the chasis you will see it is not SMT. Thanks anyway.

I’m looking for info for which diode or transistor to cut in the audio circuit to get some decent audio out of this dog. the Anniversary edition as well
