Ed,

I checked the www.mods.dk site and they didn't have a power increase mod listed for the TS570. There is a "Help Me" section where you might post a similar question there.

Hope this helps!<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=";)">

Fasteddy,

You have to take this for what it's worth because I'm

passing along what a friend with a '570 told me.

Changing output power is a 'menu' command item and

only works until the radio is turned off the first time

after implimenting it. It isn't a 'remembered' change.

I have no idea how to go about it, but I do remember

that the 'how to' was passed around on the air a while

back. The consinsus(?) of opinion was that it wasn't

worth the effort.

PS - I think it had to do with one of the 'secret' menus.

(It isn't really a secret menu, just one that's used for

technical stuff and not published in the operator's

manual.)

Marconi,

The info on the 570 is for a friend. I don't own one (darn), he loves his and believe me it sounds awesome on the air.

230 miles is one good ground wave for sure. Glad you two can make the hookup on a regular basis. Both of you guys were definitly sounding good that night.

Hope to catch you again soon.
