this is what i didn't like the amps look good but i didn't like the cover he made now maybe it wasn't done or just a test fit idk this was last year could have changed by nowi was hoping for a cover like this on this magnumor this from a 69FFB4Now show it working stable on sideband, with the cover closed? Without a drop of RF shielding and 700 watts a fraction of an inch from all of the low power circuitry, this radio should be quite the oscillator, without a carrier swamping out the oscillations. Where is the decoupling for the radio's DC feed? The zener diode for bias, doesn't offer any thermal tracking. How is the spectrum analyzer sampling RF? Is it through an attenuator that has flat response through VHF? I'm sorry to be critical however, I've done this enough times to know that it's nearly impossible to achieve stable operation at this power level, without any shielding between the amplifier and radio.
