I suspect that some may not be able to open the file. Not sure what to do if this is the case. There are various programs to use for this, mainly Excel, but if you have never used any of these, the learning curve may be a bit much. I use Excel daily in the office but I have friends and acquaintances who haven't a clue how to because they've never had to or needed to use it. Anyway, just something to think about.

If you're not on Windows or just don't want to buy MS Office suite, Libre Office will open the file just fine and is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. I think they also have or are working on iOS and Android versions as well.

If you don't want to install yet another bit of software, there are online excel viewers like this one:
