HR2510 Mod Question from the past

Just by doing what I had outlined to Jerry in that post, my HR2510 will dead key approx 2.5/3 watts and swing to approx 35 watts peak into the dummy load. This is on the meter on my a MFJ-989C, the final is a single MRF497 in the stock configuration(no pre-driver mod or change) and with the AMC uncut and adjusted.

After changing the value of R174,I Adjusted VR103 fully open to allow the radio to swing to full power, and adjusted the Key with VR107(this is on the HR2510)

I have not done the mod were you put a resistor in-line with the Transistor that controls the AMC, never seemed to need to.

Rogers Vari Mod is good as well and will allow you to set the key from outside the radio.
