WHICH IS BETTER COBRA 148 NEW or GALAXY DX 959

hi ben looking at the 2 radios i like both of them i like the 959 becaus of frequincey counter ( BUT ) i have herd that the channel mod is kinda fun or sometimes does not work are the new 148's any good and can they still be modded thanks for you input in advance wayne

The new 148s arnt woth the powder to blow them up. Go with the gal 959

This new Galaxy chassis is the way to go between the choice of these 2 radios. i cant see Cobra ever going back to building a good 148 after seeing several of there new duds they have made in the past few years.

of the 2 you listed definately the 959. but also look at the texas ranger
these are often overlooked but the offer a 6 digit counter and every bit
as good as the 959
