I had a lot of problems with my Zetagi low pass filter. When I connected the pl259 to the SO239 connections and tightened it up fully, all the signals would just vanish.

I have now moved on to using a Kenwood low pass filter, yes its about 3 times more in price but it makes a heck of alot of difference to the amount of spurious signals it cuts down on.
