Hey there, just a couple questions to anyone that has tried the Zetagi Z-180 from H&Y electronics, just curious if it's worth switching from a Wilson 1000.... I have no data on this new antenna, and don't know if it's another antenna like almost all of them out there with false claims, or if they actually work well.

What is the size of the coil? Also, what dielectric do they use? Etc? any comments welcome.

I dont think it would be worth the trouble or the time!!!!

wilsons are hard to beat. i think the only way to beat one is to get a 102 or a open coil antenna!!<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D">

The name Zetagi kinda just makes me not even want to consider it. But it possibly could be a decent antenna. I used to be a big fan of K40's years back was a dealer for them. They have their place just like alot of products do.

Thanks for the insight, I never was a fan of the big open air coil antennas, simply because of their design, they tend to be noisy as they aren't shunt loaded, and also because of the design, which results in wide frequency coverage, but a low Q.

Yeah. I can see your point on that. What is your thoughts on the FireStik's?
