    706 works on AM only with optional filter. Otherwise it's garbage tx/rx If output power is not an issue get IC-705

    That is radio side. How about wall socket? Is it 3 or 2 wire? N and PE bridged or separate? In most cases SWPS is noisy when no proper grounding. Mike
