Hi guys. For a fiberglass type base antenna big stick, antron etc, is a metal mast pipe needed vs say a finerglass pole. Is the typical metal mast needed for this type antenna for counterpoise ? Lets use a antron type antenna without groundplane / kit. Would the coax coming straight down...

Crazy yours also had a whacked clarifier control. Kinda makes one wonder if its a common problem on the current run of the radio. Not sure if i will try another one or not yet. Agreed qc is in the toilet it seems

Thanks Tucker. I have an adapter as you describe but surprised there isnt really an option available yet that i'm aware of anyways made for these radios in a electret desk mic.

Does anyone know if Qixiang will ever produce a desk type mic that will pair up well with anytone or similar board radios? Maybe they will if they ever make and release a 5555n2 type base station radio. Anyone know if one exists ?

Hi guys. Wondering what your thoughts are on a 756pro in working condition other then the internal tuner. The price is approx $450, not sure if a decent deal despite the problem with internal tumer. For sideband operation only as well. Opinions please ? Thx :)
