SWR Meters make You Stupid!

LOL I expected someone who didnt read but a few paragraphs to say that. Funny Part is this has been out for peer review for years and Walter Maxwell as well as countless others way smarter than you agree 100%, and gave it there blessing. Perhaps you should read the data instead of worrying about his commentary and base it on the actual content.

This is my reply to you where is the flaming? That would be in your reply to this.

Perhaps you shouldn't bore us with other people's lame whacker stories. I'm not dissing the facts or information presented. Only the extra commentary, which was 95% more than necessary.

A scholarly teaching piece this isn't.

Nobody asked - and only a jackwagon would post something like this. So....I got what I expected from you. There. Take that, Nah nah nah nah nah

Actually Surburpin' I think your signature says it all. Anything Mack does he must have learned from you seeing as you are his elmer, which explains everything to everyone here about both you and he.

So I got bored with all the excessive and extra commentary. My opinion that is. If someone is going to offer a technical article about how some facet of radio then let's just have the facts and figures and leave the hooey for the playground at recess. Again, my opinion.

You didn't have to start flaming and insulting me because I didn't like the way the article was written.
But as you have so aptly taught your pupil, you can dish it out but you can not take it. So I'm sticking with my screw you and the surburban you rode in on.

I agree with Moleculo. Peace out cracker

So again, your a hypocrite and your only goal was to start shit so yeah I hope you agree with Mole. Cracker what are you ten years old? Your name is fitting a Weasel.

Just got to this article, very nice, and very well written, it was not dry, and boring as some "tech" articles are..Thanks for posting..BTW, I know this was old, but just had to comment...

I read the first 2 paragraphs and fell asleep. CB radio is definitely something I don't enjoy over analyzing.

I read the first 2 paragraphs and fell asleep. I wonder if my Comet CMX-1 cross needle meter makes me stupid?

im already stupid without a meter . but the meter makes it more obvious .

Well if you're a meter watcher that's fine as for me I set my rig and throw the meter back on the shelf when I done doing that so meters are of no consequence to me and one less impedance bump in my feed line when not in line.

Everyone is stupid to a certain degree. I am real stupid for dating some of the girls that I did. Blue eyed blondes were my weakness in my younger days.........you know the types who work at McDonalds and can't make change if the computer is down!!!

My eyes crossed several times reading this. I understood some, but some was way over my head. Either way I learned something, so thanks for the time it took for that post. The idea that power can exceed the output of the transmitter, is that an example db gain?
No. That's a function of the antenna system itself.
