I didn't catch the earlier / original thread. But it's great to see that a number of us caught the radio in the ad. Like others have noted normally you see some sort of receiver or scanner used as a 'transmitter'.

So did anyone else notice the President Madison with matching speaker on the network promo for Young Sheldon? I guess it could also be the AM base version called the Dwight D but the fuzzy text under the channel knob appears to be Madison and not Dwight D. The mike something like a Turner Plus 3?

I believe that the entry level Japanese amateur license is restricted to 10 watts. There have been other radios releases that in the Japanese market are only 10 watts but in other markets they are higher power.
