    Still haven't pinned down my problem, Does anyone know what the weak points are to cause a failure when the power supply has been turned off and on without no load. Grand kids in the radio room. any suggestions where to check so I don't have to shotgun fix it.

    Had one given to me that was beat up in an eightteen wheeler and messed over in a truckstop cb shop. Took awhile but now talk on it daily using a 4 amp power supply and a i/2 wave dipole swung down vertical at about 45 feet.
