I'd say the Magnum S9 wouldn't be such a bad choice.
I have one and the receive on it is very good and the audio is great too.
also The President Lincoln/Uniden 2510 is a good one too, once again good receive and transmit audio is good.

Just bought a Midland Alan 9001 and wanted peoples opinions on the radio?
The radio appears to have the same board as the Uniden HR2510/President Lincoln but have noticed that the frequency range is only between 26.500 - 30.199mhz.

well It looks like the Sirio Hi Power 3000 and 4000 are the best mobile antennas it seems.
I do have a 9ft tank whip which i am going to try next time i am static mobile and see how well it peforms against the sirio's
