If you could create a cool new CB product what would it be?

That would be awesome. I love that radio design. It's more of a "Kenwood" style base station, than a mobile. Very cool.

If you could create a cool new CB product what would it be?

    I would make a new SSB/AM/FM/CW handheld, and a small form-factor SSB/AM/FM/CW mobile. Both covering 15m-10m at least. (Or 40m-6m if possible.) :) 73

    Quansheng UV K5

https://www.universirius.com/preppers/quansheng-uv-k5-manuale-del-firmware-ijv_v3/ Can you download from here? Or is it blocked for you? (Do not skip ANY steps. You will need to use the provided .py module for Chirp next). 73

    Aussie KRACO

G'day mate. These are great old rigs. If it is the 23ch base, you will need CB-148 (attached) :) FYI, you can easily add a DDS VFO to this radio for 10m use. 73

    Anytone Ares 2

I should probably trade my SA in, for a set of your speakers, they seem to be much more sensitive. ;) Your issue does seem to point to a different problem though, unless you happen to have an ARES 2 with a fault that we haven't seen before. 73

    Anytone Ares 2

See below: This is an ARES 2 that I have here. It is very clean, at better than -70dBc on the second harmonic. I have posted some scope pictures (NPC OFF) in an earlier post that are very clean as well: https://www.worldwidedx.com/threads/anytone-ares-2.265547/post-832392 73

That is a different story, of course!

    Anytone Ares 2

Guys, please exercise a great deal of caution here. Some of the information he gave in the video and what he thinks the menus are for, is incorrect. And that second harmonic does not exist on my radios here. (Maybe this harmonic is because of the cap change OR the "alignment" of incorrect...

    New 5555N2

A quality PEP power meter will show you very close the the advertised AM power (between 55-60W PEP in my tests). So, don't worry! These are a great rig for 10m, and also 12m after the modification. 73

    New Anytone 6666+

    Ssb handheld cb

I have a number of the Mizuho SSB/CW handhelds (I have 40/20/12/15/10/6m versions. I have never seen the 27Mhz AM version before! That's very cool. I also have a few of the Abrecht/Magnum/Cherokee/Dragon 12/11/10m SSB handheld rigs from across the different generations. The old ones work much...

    Ssb handheld cb

Yes, there has been talks... We need a new SSB handheld! If you agree, please send Anytone (Qixiang) an email, and tell them that you want a new SSB handheld to be made. They are listening. 73

    Radioddity CS -47

Yes just a wee price difference! But I have a Anytone Graces (CS-47) too, and it's a very nice little radio. My point is that you can make an SSB rig that works great without traditional control knobs. As long as your friends don't use Ranger radios, then you won't need to press the clarifier...

    Radioddity CS -47

Depending on the way the UI is designed, it can work extremely well. Here is the best mobile SSB radio I have ever used, the Codan Envoy. If a hand controller SSB 11/10m radio was released, I would get one. Same goes for a small SSB rig. AT-500M2 or SR-94HPC sized would be awesome.

CRT SS 7900V Turbo (latest version) Service Mode? (And more tricks)...

If you are worried about power, the best thing you could do is get yourself a decent peak reading power meter. I can recommend this one (high accuracy, good price): https://www.dxengineering.com/parts/mtn-swrmeter I have a coupe of these. They compare favourably to an LP-100A and Bird43 with...
