replaced the original mosfets and works great!!!!!

Dropped in new 13n10's. Terrible output with high swr. Needs tuning?. No heat generated from transistors - hs cold. Added light to on -off switch so I know voltage present. Tried thermal pads on backs of mosfets but blew 6.3 amp fuse on board. Removed pads and fuse. Works again. But unit needs...

it's all good...just playing with stuff.

Going to install mini 12v fan where mic connector was....also a multicolor led to on /off switch.....Robb gave me the idea to go with different mosfets so I will try them. The old mosfets were a struggle to remove. I will have to fix up some trace on the install. Like to get some watts out that...

I replaced a 26v 100mf cap on the board. I cut the leads tight to the underside but I did not notice that the legs had touched the heatsink. I saw the top of the cap had a slight bulge and that annoying relay thing was happening again. Sooooo again I replaced the cap but this time I used my nail...

So I have the same problem ...the relay stays in. I have to shut off linear switch to drop relay to get into receive again. This happens intermittently. What up?

Follow up on AD 203 Install Still works great. My radio however started to go" funny" on me. When I turn it on the audio would be so friggin loud it would hurt your ears and the volume control did nothing to reduce the volume. When I jiggle the band selector switch the volume would be...
