    Can Cobra HH425LI talk with Midland GXT1000

    I gleaned this from the owner's manual found online at Cobra.... Make sure the Cobra radio is in GMRS mode. Channels 15-22 should be able to communicate with any standard GMRS radio at 5 watts, including the Midland you mentioned.

    Hello, I have an assortment of Wouxuns in 2m/440 and 2m/220, as well as the programming software. Evidently I have overwritten both my 2m/220 units with the radio "reads" from the 2m/440s. Now both the 2m/220s that I have (a UV2D and a UVD1P) won't transmit on the 220 band. They seem to work...

    Wouxun "welcome" message

    I just got a Wouxun KG-UV2D and a KG-UV3D, both 2/70. I am using the software to program them with identical frequencies. However, when I add a 6 digit "welcome" screen message to the software, it uploads successfully to the UV2D, but not to the UV3D. All frequencies, pl tones, etc, upload...
