    Kenwood TH-D74A tribander FCC test report now published

    With APRS and TNC capabilities with GPS, it seems like they are replacing the D72, But I have seen no mention of skycommand. Based on the current price of the D72, I am guessing this unit will cost $550

    Icom IC-7300 HF Transceiver Review

    Hi Mole, I was wondering, what is the highest TX bandwidth? It looks like in the picture you posted that the audio scope goes out to 4k, But will the software allow to go to 4k or does it brick wall a 2.9 like most Icoms? Also, have you tried AM? Thanks

    600 watt ++ RCI 2950!!!

    Hello, I am selling my MONSTER rci 2950. It has an RFX 75 and a built in 4 transistor(2879's) amplifier from a connex 4300-400wsm. There is a switch on the back so you can turn the amplifier off and run just the RFX75 at about 60 watts peak. Variable is set for a 30-100 watt carrier and peak...

    BBI amps, anyone heard of them?

    Will you be able to post a vid with current draw, voltage and power meter measurements? Also in your video you mentioned "with this technology" What are you doing that is different from other builders? Using pad on input to present a 50ohm resistive load? High quality input transformers? PS...

    2970dx-150 Class A

    Hi Shockwave, NO, luckily this is the older Bipolar Version with 2166 Driver and 1969 final. The PA uses dual 2290s in push pull config. I am shooting for 50 watts as long as I dont exceed the current rating on the transistors and the radio does not get too hot. If I can not reach 50 watts...

    BBI amps, anyone heard of them?

    I would like to see a DC current meter, voltage meter and power meter all in one shot. That will be the true test of linearity and performance. A Spectrum analyzer shot out to the 5th would be nice as well.
