ok so now i ask you guys with much more experience then i. for a stationary Base Antenna that i will raise on the top of the bus when parked .whats your thoughts A99/ Maco v5000 /102 wip/ i wouldn't think i would need a ground plane kit but i think some come with anyways thanks Maniac ..
i just found a hole that was plugged like maybe for a gps antenna on top in the center do the make a 3 foot base load or any good antenna 3 feet long that would put me at 13 feet ?
just found a hole in the top of the bus that had a plug in it looks like it might have been an old antenna for gps or something what if a had a 3 foot base load ? its right in the center and on top that would put me at 13 feet ..?
well i do have 2 siro 5000 and 2 gutter mounts already lol bought that @#$T before i wised up and asked for help i guess i might just mount them like Robb said and lean them way out hell it might not perform that bad sense the roof is really rounded ..the other thought was use a hold over...
the drivers side mirror is at the bottom of the windshield lol i don't know where to put them mount them lower on the side of the bus but again the coils any thoughts ? i do appreciate you guys taking the time to help me get this figured out
i thought about doing that with 2 gutter mounts and a co phase set up i read somewhere some one said gutter mounts are not any good the mirrors are at too different heights and i wont be able to get the coil above the roof gutter mounts i could but still puts the Antennas pretty high does it...
