Hi all, I have a 2950dx it receives and transmits but no modulation. I've changed mics a few times just to see if that was the problem, but nothing. A little help would be great! Thanks in advance!
ok, I've seen very little on converting this 2950 to 11 meter. 1 website said to pull jumper j2 behind the front panel. J2 is across the back next to a final! I know I have the older version, but what is the real way to convert this dam thing?? Thanks in advance!
I have a fix! Since I work at a transfer station, I have access to electronics and other devices. So after testing, and getting 12.8v DC at the rectifier I'm going to install this temporarily until I get a replacement or maybe come across a parts radio. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me.
Thank you for all your help bud, I still think this thing needs a new transformer... I'm only getting 9.8 ac out of the transformer. 11.3dc out of the rectifier.
Here is the transformer (factory 110v and 220v) and here is the wiring pic from when I bought it. I don't remember the AC out to the rectifier, so I'll check it tonight and post back. I am getting 10volts out of the rectifier and 11.3 at the 35v capacitor just after it (which I think is...
It runs 110 and 220. I know it's connected properly because the output is still the same from 220v and now 110v on the output of the transformer to the rectifier. Output of 10volts. I was hoping for 13, is that wrong?
Sorry if this seems out of place, does anyone know the output of the transformer on the Galaxy Saturn (non turbo) or a good replacement? The EPT number on top of it gets me nowhere.
One of my original problems with this radio, Saturn (nonturbo) What's the frequency counter wasn't working correctly. After putting a set of caps and a new voltage regulator in the circuit board I was checking for voltage and according to CB tricks I should have 13.8 volts going into it. I...
