Boost power

I have the Uniden PC-68XL and the
Larson NMO-27 BCO Coil and the Larson W-490 (49 inch) whip

Is there an easy way to boost the power of the radio, even by say 10 to 20 watts??

Something that someone with little to no radio smarts can do.

If so please give easy detailed instructions

a p/t wil be good but it u wan ttha tmuck power just buy a amp. You can get more power and can us eit when ever u want. If u want a good amp buy DAVEMADE

The Uniden 68 will scream and do good numbers, there is no simple turn this and your done mod. A qualified tech will have to tune and align the radio properly, there are too many hacks and wanna be techs that mess more radio's up. Have it done right the first time.

Butcher318 speaks wisely, unless you have the test equipment and knowhow, stay out of it.

Send it to Justin or SS8541, and you'll have something most radio owners don't have--a properly tuned radio. :x
