As you have already read my user name. I was wondering if there are any legal modes I can do to my cb. Also I want to get a Wilson 5000 roof mount antenna that I can easily unscrew the antenna off the roof and use the plastic cap that came with my cb to cover the connecter. I'm using my Wilson 5000 magnet mount at this moment, I’m afraid that if I leave the magnet mount antenna on my roof it is more likely to get stolen. If you have any pics of the roof and trunk mount antenna and its set up it would be greatly appreciated. I own a 1991 Ford Escort GT and I know that I have to install some RF filters on my fuel pump, wiper motor, possibly on my alternator and ignition coil. Would you happen to know any other supplier them MTI for RF filters because from what I have read on the web site that they are out of business. By the way I work at a machine shop so if I have to fabricate some sort of pat there is no problem. I also have a Uniden BC245XLT Canadian model and I’m looking for a very good antenna that will cover from 29.0 to 956.0 and what is the required ground plane, I would like to mount it on my trunk. Thanks in advance.

Re: Re:Correction Can you please help me

FWIW: Mods by their very definition are illegal for type certificated CBs in the US.

Everything I own is modded to the max, I was just answering the question. He asked for LEGAL mods. No such thing.
