Just wanted to report on a very successful water soluble flux. I had been reading recipes online and came across using PEG3350 (miralax) and an amino acid. Remembering a box of chemicals a friend had sent me years back contained GABA, I gave it a try..

6g PEG, 1g GABA, 0.25g Citric Acid, and 41g warm water. Stir to dissolve.

Edit: it works so good, it should have a name! What about GabaPEG?
