is there anyone out there that has or had this rig ? looking for real world reports on this unit. forget the hype. iv'e already checked out e-ham. i have an ft 847 but i was considering getting a kenwood also.

    Seems to be dead on the radio lately. I don't know if the conditions are horrible, or more likely my weak antennas. I may head up in the mountains on Wednesday and see if reception / transmission is improved.
