multi couplers

so does anyone use a multi coupler / splitter to feed 2 or more scanners / recievers with one ant. if so what kind, likes and dislikes. need to start thinking about a new digital scanner if i want to keep up when not at work, but still want to use my trunk tracker for the conventional stuff. 73

It cana be done but locating the correct sort of divider may be difficult. I'd look for a BNC Y conector. Maybe an auto stereo shop - sort that installs systems in cars - might have em. Or you can just use a PL-259 to BNC adapter on each point of the Y.

a simple y-adapter and an antenna splitter are two entirely different things. top performing splitters can cost as much as $50.00 or more for a simple two-port model.
