doctor i checked out reddog radio .not bad didnt see much for antennas though

I'm kinda partial to the one at DPD products, since it is completely sealed up in the tube an built on the same platform as their train, an govt. antennas. Besides, it'll be up pretty high an don't wanna hafta fool with it for a long time.

I'm using a 2 meter Yaesu FT2800 that I modded that can tx an rx on murs up to 65 watts.....:)

Go to H&Y electronics, they have the tram/browning antenna, that is what I have, works great, there is a guy who sells yagi beams/GROUND PLANES on the net, if you dont want to spend a lot of money, I will hunt it up for you.
That is what I use MURS for talk home in a 40 mile area...

I think you have seen the quality of arrow antennas, real quality...

Have the GP146/440 up here at the qth. and i can recommend it as being broadband
on 146.. have not used 440 much except with a hand held.

Regards,
John

Speaking of arrow antennas..
They make a really good corner beam for 2 meter and 440..
It is indeed very wide banded and easily will work for MURS & GMRS
