turner mic differences?

have a m+2u and jm+2u mobile mic not sure of the differences, after something to give really punchy audio on ssb, as astatic mics are hard to get and are really expensive in england at the moment,would like to use a turner hooked up to a lincoln,any
thoughts?

hello crusader, the only difference between m+2 and jm+2 is how they came wired from the factory, m+2u for relay radios and jm+2 for the electronic switched radios, they will work on a lincoln, they sound a bit tinny but usually loud and clear, the turner booklet can be read here, http://www.ericbraun.com/turner/Turner Mic Wiring.pdf

the relay Turner wired mic's can also be rewired in the mic's to work on electronic switching as well. The hand book Bob posted should help you there.
