I spent a very enjoyable evening last night listening to Taiwan and Western Canada (I live in Central Ill.) I've been improving the antennas slowly step by step but it's been worth the time and a bunch of fun!

The only thing I get during the daylight hours is WWV but during the evening it's anywhere from 5mc clear to 21mc but on 5mc at 30kw it's understandable you would hear WWV.

I was so excited to get real results from my latest antenna effort I forgot to write down where I found those stations. :blush:

Never been one to log stuff but I can see now why SWL'ers do. So I'll have to start.....:blink:

SOUNDS great. I listen or keep a rcvr on 6925u in the evenings to get the Pirate stations, and it has paid off, 6 qsl back so far via e mail..
