Prolly because everything was made from scratch...
Everything starts out fresh, not premade and then heated or fried and refried and reheated!

I drank some Mountain Dew that was supposedly made with the original recipe from way back when and contains real sugar. I didn't like it, but I did back in the day. Guess my body is used to modern sweeteners.

Remember when the "New" coke came out(that was a flop)...I could not get used to that new coke taste, had to have the original one.

I could not drink diet drinks for a long time either, then i finally got used to them,,,thought they might be healthier, but today they say it don't matter diet or regular they the same...So I drink one of each!
