Not whining. As for "the usual leftist political comments" you only say that because it was pointed out that the bill to take the 9cmband away was put forth by a GOP senator that has been proven to be linked to companies that both contributed to him and stand to make a great deal of money from his proposal. It is not leftist comments, it is simply comments about payback. It is basically just plain regular corruption in American politics. You scratch my back and I'll scratch your's.Yeah yeah they all do it so lets keep the left and right comments out of it.

I'd like to see an honest pole of who actually uses this band and see some pictures of the equipment. I did a bio search on QRZ for 9cm and only came up with 67 matches. Only two callsigns were from the USA.

Biggest users of 9cm Seems to be the EME crowd and that would be few. Regardless, without protesting the loss it sets a precedence of apathy towards further losses.

Except for a small sliver of 700 and 800mhz the cell companies will end up owning everything above 590mhz. They have already had great success with ““5G”” in 600mhz.

I expect sooner or later Hams will get pushed out of 400mhz too. Public safety is running out of room in the 700/800mhz band.
