A Yaesu FT-857 would cover all those frequencies, or any other DC-to-Daylight radio. You can also get a quad band antenna that covers 10m, 6m, 2m, and 70cm, so tuning it a little different for 11m and the GMRS frequencies just above the Ham band should be doable. Would probably throw off the...

I really like R&L, their shop reminded me of an old time electronics shop last time we dropped in... years ago. Quicksilver used to come to our little hamfest, but he got too big and hasn't been there in years. Usually hires nice eye candy for Dayton. ABR is solid stuff, and they're proud of it.

Sounds like the next step in a "super modulator" type setup. Suppress the carrier so less power is wasted on that, and just do mostly modulation.
