Thanks Rob got it fixed today it was the bridge

what i was trying to figure out what transformer i needed there are no mrkings of anytype on this and when i go out to find one i was just trying to figure out which one to get

i am show continuity between the post I just noticed it appears the tranformer may have some damage to it where it was wrapped in black it appear ot is damaged and someone retaped it when i removed their tape just a little it appears someone messed with it only on one side.

one side of the transformer going to the on/off switch showing 119.1 v the other side of the transformer is a white wire and a light blue one it shows 11.25 v

all it has is an on/off switch transformer on/ light what I take is the diode bridge and a capacitor with a small resisitor between the + and - at rear before it goes out the back

is there a way to check that

I got this from a friend of mine He is out of work and has no money so I am trying to figure out why it is only getting 10 v out I think the transfromer my be out and was going to check with a friend that has a bunch if he has one or what do you think would cause it to only get 10 v out

A friend of mine asked me this morning who would you send your cb to. To get peaked and worked on. He is a over the road trucker and he said he doesn't trust a lot of shops on the road. he said he would like to have a little more power on his cobra and maybe be able to hear better.

nope mic is wired correct new mic but checked it out. Also hooked up pa to it and it worked
