What desk mic to use?

That's a niche that hasn't quite been fulfilled in the cb world since the infamous Astatic d-104 variants. I myself have tried many but haven't found one I loved yet. I think the president is in similar shoes as the anytone bunch, not much else can do what the stock electret can do. Those are my findings so far.

Some here do like the Delta desk mics or the zetagi, Ive owned and sold the zetagi but I can't speak on the delta.
I love my Zetagi mic, but unfortunately according to Simon, they have entered liquidation. I can't find anyone that has one in stock.

I use the Yaesu M-1 Reference mic on the electret cartridge.
That's a nice mic!

I really never looked at that one til now. That would work on the Lincoln radio being it needs 5v to power it.

A pricey mic but it's really like you get 2 mics, (condenser and dynamic mic elements) plus EQ and other features but some of those only work on Yaesu radio's.

$670??? about twice the price of a Lincoln radio.

The Yaesu M-100 is a bit more affordable at $440 which lacks the EQ and other features but still has low and high cut filters.

If you want a little more bass from your President or Anytone hand mic, I found that the electret element from a telephone sounds great.
