Took the bottom plate off to tune L8, put everything back together, flipped the radio 90 degrees and receive dropped out to just white noise. Flipped it back 90 degrees and receive was restored, flipped it 360 to reinstall and the receive dropped out again. I don't see anything loose or anything...
Would it be natural for a 2970 DX to be noisier on receive after an alignment then it was before? Logic would say that the receive might be stronger, thus causing it to be noisier, but, that's only my opinion. This is most likely a newbie question, but, I figured at least on this forum I'll get...
