    I just put a TCXO (SO-3) into my ts-590s. Since I have done this, the receive sounds like everyone is talking under water (bubbly,choppy,raspy) for the first 15 minutes. This effect also happens on my TX as well. After warming up, it is fine. Is this normal?

    Bird 43 vs Radio Shack meter

    My Bird shows higher vswr than my radio shack meter. The radio shack meter matches the BIRD's power measurements. Is vswr different than swr?

    I have 10 meter Super Scout Amplifier. It has (4)– 6JG6 and (8) – 6LQ6 tubes. Does anyone know anything about this amplifier? If anybody has any documentation on this I'd like to know more about it. Like how much to drive it with and so forth. Thanks, Kirk
