    oh really i never hear much on channel 35 exept on AM it seems like conditions arent as good for us up here at higher latitudes but like i say i am relitivly new to this hobby seems like i have better luck on AM 28 and Am 26 than i do on sideband lately

    hey all problably not a big deal for you guys but finally i made a contact to austrailia a few hours ago on 27.385 LSB very exiting i am relativly new to this hobby but its good to know all my hard work i put into my mobile setup finally paid off.

    oh and yes i understand the filter usually goes between the antenna and the amp but i have tried that with no luck just seems odd by the way the filter is an RF LIMITED LOW PASS TVI FILTER DF-3000 3KW PEP

    hi all thanks for the replies i got the radio from Walcott CB nothing was clipped that i know of i have an Ameritron AWM-35 remote mountcross needle watt meter also have used Dosy 4000 meter as well

    thanks for the replies yep i suspect spurious emissions too i have tried everything you said but the only way a can get the swr down is to install a low pass filter between the radio and amp. oh and yes i recalibrated my meter for the higher power level have been pulling my hair out...
