    midland 79-893 help

    I dont have a manual for a midland 79-893 and i am missing a few parts in the limiter circuit. it is on a board seperate from the main board. I am missing R606 R607 R608 R615 D601 D602. PLEASE HELP DONT WANT TO WAIST MONEY ON AN OLD RADIO I WILL NOT SEE TO MUCH OF IN MY SHOP. thanks, Mike

    COBRA 25 NW ST POOR RX

    I am working on a Cobra 25 nw st. It had carrier with no tx modulation and no rx. i traced the transmit problem to a burnt d10 diode and burnt modulation transformer. i replaced both items plus the audio chip. no transmit works fine but i have very poor rx i have to turn my monitor up to 85...
