It's Australia Day today.

A mate of mine in Michigan is flying the OZ flag once more.

I'm flying the RAAF flag today off the 1/4 wave vertical in honour of my dad and all the other WW2 airmen I have met here and in the US.

    Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
