102 inch ss whip vs 7ft skipshooter

Sadly - I've seen chain reaction accidents from a Semi's newly installed Radio got limb-whacked Hi-Jacked that left the Semi out the Drivers window along with the Mirror ENTIRE bracket and Antenna- into the oncoming lane of traffic...I am left wondering how - but the evidence spinning in the street was proof, still it was un-believable.

After that experience - I see your mounting and can't help but wonder since tree limbs being made of wood, are part of the Very Trebuchet your system can become.

Considering Force = Mass X Velocity - Houston, We could have a problem.
 
In my situation both antennas performed identically the same except the skipshooter had less electrical noise so considering im using my skipshooter as a base antenna i like it better than steel whip
