awwwww.....that's messed up. dee snyder lives about 10 minutes from me. aside from seeing twisted sister at....sundance i think....before they were heavy duty into his wife's makeup back in the 70's, i first met him while he was at a local shopping mall, have seen him there on more then a few other occasions, though not recently, and he frequents my place of employment from time to time. they have their place in history, and, like jimmy buffet, there is a time & a place when twisted sister music is appropriate ;-)
being in the midwest i have a tough time getting through to europe and the uk. I also get skip from hawaii, new zealand and australia but on both coasts the boots beat me to it. I could get a linear like those coasties but that would make me as rude as they are.
Yes there are a lot of lip flappers out there...with a "35 dollar radio" and think they should sing Ring of Fire,
who fail to mention their $2000 linears....
and some leave their boots on to talk local on 38LSB in Ft Myers Florida, who are constantly worried about a Modulator problem, so they visit their local Bartender all the time.
They crank up their squelch because the DX is bothering them.

They would be better off if they both got into a phone booth. It would ease their separation anxiety.

his whole call sign is 19pvg001. good enough contact to exchange emails.
I almost made a contact with AK1300 in Stuttgart Germany but he QSYed to a 27._00 frequency and I can't follow him there
and Eric thats with 18watts, a 5/8 groundplane, no ocean skip, with both coasts awake and breaking... I did great
come inland 900 miles, see how you do. I bet my favorite hat you run more than 18watts
