hi i own two megabeams but no manual can,t seem to be able to have a direction good swr 1.2 maybe assembled wrong elements are numbered 1 2 3 4 but ........... anyone thx
I know this is an OLD thread but I was just given a Brand New (NOS) 4 Element MegaBeam 4104 with the instructions & a 3 element as well but I don't remember the model # on it but I do know it is a 3 element Shakespeare beam. The instructions are only one page with a diagram for both antennas. Not very detailed.I plan upon putting up the 4 element at a later date but I will be listing the 3 element For Sale locally due to shipping cost.Pretty neat design with a fiberglass boom & fiberglass elements & no tuning. Also no mention of the gain or of any specs on the instructions & diagram? It will be better than my Antron I'm sure.
Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
