I assume you are a USA amateur with at least a GENERAL class license

go here 60 meter band 5MHz International Information News Frequency Channel List - Ham Radio - Amateur Radio - HFLINK.COM

to answer your question, you need to set your VFO to 5.357.0

that when on USB will actually be 5.358.5 "center of channel" freq"

in other words, your DIAL freq will be 1 1/2 Kc lower than the "channel freq"

these are the VFO "dial" freqs.

Channel 1: 5330.5 kHz
Channel 2: 5346.5 kHz
Channel 3: 5357.0 kHz
Channel 4: 5371.5 kHz
Channel 5: 5403.5 kHz

there is a lot of good info on the link I provided, however, if you read Bonnies (KQ6XA) comments take them with a grain of salt, she is absolutely incorrect and was trying to build her EMCOMM empire:oops:

well I called yaesu and tec said to put 5.3585 in ch 3 so I did and works good

yeah, the radio may xmit there but,................the tech is wrong. set the VFO to 5.357.0 USB 5.357.0 USB IS 5.358.5 MHz center of channel

the DIAL freq can be DIFFERENT depending on the mode used. USB & PSK MUST be 1 1/2 Kc lower than center freq.
CW may (or may not) be 600 Hz off depending on your particular radio.

in clear words 5.357.0 USB & PSK
5.358.5 CW minus any tone offset

READ this chart:

New 60 meter band 5MHz Channel List:
General, Advanced, or Amateur Extra Class license only.

Suppressed Carrier USB VFO Dial freq
5330.5 kHz USB (center of channel = 5332.0)
5346.5 kHz USB (center of channel = 5348.0)
5357.0 kHz USB (center of channel = 5358.5) New!
5371.5 kHz USB (center of channel = 5373.0)
5403.5 kHz USB (center of channel = 5405.0)

These frequencies are available for use by stations having a control operator holding a General, Advanced or Amateur Extra class license. It is important to note that the frequencies shown above are suppressed carrier frequencies – the frequencies that appear in your transceiver’s tuning display when your transceiver is in the USB mode.

Note: FCC deleted the channel at 5366.5 USB (center=5368.0)
and "replaced" it with channel 5357.0 kHz USB (center=5358.5)

notice the DIAL freq is 5.357.0

its your license, not the "techs"

NTIA specifies channels in terms of "channel center" frequencies, where as amateur transceivers, in tuning a commercial channel, typically must be tuned 1.5 kHz lower than the specified "channel center" frequency. For example, for a "channel center" frequency of 5332 kHz, you tune a "traditional" transceiver to 5330.5 kHz.

So go ahead and try it. Set up an FT-817ND/857D/897D to the "5332" channel, and tune your FT-1000MP to 5330.5 kHz. Now transmit from the 817ND/857D/897D; you will find that you are precisely on frequency as you monitor on the other transceiver.

Note: If you program 5330.5 kHz into a "regular" memory from the VFO, it will be on the same frequency as the "5332 kHz" channel in the special 5 MHz memory bank, as the 60-meter bank (only) displays according to the "channel center" format
I got this from Yaesu for my FT-857D in 60meters chs m-601-605 so I tried this and it works Thanks to all 73"
