Nice chatting with the stations I talked to, it's pretty rough out there with the above-mentioned QRM, but I heard most everybody fairly well.
(A CB forum is probably not the best place to arrange a ham radio roundtable... it's probably just asking for QRM issues.)

I heard someone trying to call me. Just as I was able to pull out their call, KA2... . A QSO started out of the blue.

@ AWP:Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
